Hiya dear teachers!
I'm Carolina from Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana and I work in a school in Bigues i Riells "El Turó". These two small villages are nearby Granollers and they used to be villages where people from Barcelona had their 2nd home. This has changed quite a lot and population has increased steeply!
After reading some of the posts I feel better... The reason why is because I didn't see myself as a teacher some years ago and a couple of us have commented exactly the same, then I'm not the ugly duckling of our "guild".
Nowadays I feel very happy for having previous experiences on other fields and other ways of teaching.

Hi, Carolina!
Don't worry about being the "ugly duckling" of our guild; on the contrary, I think you're one of the lucky "ducklings": teachers don't teach only maths or English or science... I'm convinced that sometimes we teach a much more important subject such is LIFE. The more you've lived and experienced, the better! So, your pupils are very lucky and I'm sure you're an excellent teacher.
