Introducing Silvia
Hi everybody,
I’m Sílvia from Sant Quirze de Besora. First of all I’ve to apologize, Geoff. I received your invitation twice, the first one yesterday, but my mailer has a filter and analyzed your messages as spam and they were send to the junk e-mail folder.
As I said I live in Sant Quirze but I’m not going to explain anything about it because this is the topic of my talk on Thursday.
I’ve been working as a teacher for 15 years. This is my first school year at Montesquiu, a rural school with 41 pupils, 4 teachers and 4 specialist teachers shared with 3 other rural schools; we fit altogether in one photo. And this is my first year being a primary teacher because the past 6 years I’ve been teaching PE in my town school. Even so, I also have been teaching English at first levels.
On my "freetime" I help my husband working at the restaurant and there I can be a waitress, a chef assistant, a cleaning woman, an administrator, ... We've got a son, Xavier and a daughter, Núria. He's 16 and she's 11.
I like reading, surfing the net and anything related to computers. And sometimes (such now) I can be a pain in the neck.
See you tomorrow,
Sílvia :-)

We are looking forward to listening to it! Is Sant Quirze a nice town?
